Trademark of Gebrüder Schmid, founded in Nuremberg by brothers Max and Ludwig Schmid, initially supplying parts to other toymakers before launching its own tin wind-up toys in 1933, including the popular "Express Boy" (1937). Sold to Strenco by 1965; the Gescha brand was discontinued in 1973.
