Research notes

One source (92) says that Schuco Elekro-Construction truck first entered the Schuco range in 1949 (it started with the dumper version) and was built until 1960 (until 1955, the door contained a label - ours is the newer version); another source (66) mentions that the toy versions were launched in 1955; the toy was very expensive, around 70 DM, which was the average weekly wage of a German skilled worker - so, they sold little. Modelled after the real Ford FK 3000; Reissued in limited edition of 1500 pieces from 2005 with a new box (value 2025 250€-450€)

Notes

Cable for linking the battery command to the truck is missing
