Research notes
Rolf Harris (30 March 1930 – 10 May 2023) was an Australian musician, television personality, painter, and actor. In 1954, Harris was a regular on BBC Television programme Whirligig, which featured a character called "Willoughby", who sprang to life on a drawing board, but was erased at the end of each episode. He was convicted in England in 2014 of the sexual assault of four underage girls, which effectively ended his career
