Research notes
There is a variant (from the 1930s?) with the same helicoidal track and cars (but without flag pole?), h=29cm, where the base is a pyramidal tower with a roof, with the same yellow and red decoration of the track; the trademark is at the center of the base, with "Made in Japan"; the trademark of our toy seems older, as the logo is crossed by two opposing flags. Curiosity: the base reads the name of the toy, plus "made in Tokio" and "Patent. Appl. No."
